Sign up for our newsletter so we can notify you when grant and loan opportunities become available.Online CertificationOnline certification is the first step owners of Chicago Bungalows need to take advantage of all the grants and loans available to them.energy$avers Grants*The HCBA offers grants for certified Chicago Bungalow owners to make their homes more energy-efficient, which benefits families and neighborhoods alike.Bungalow TaxSmart*Offered trough the City of Chicago’s Department of Housing, Bungalow TaxSmart is a mortgage program that provides a federal income tax credit to qualified homebuyers. NOTE: The TaxSmart program is currently on hiatus and will resume in July 2010. Please check back for updated program information and details.IHDA Grant*This program provides grants to owners of HCBA-Certified Bungalows who have restricted incomes. Rehabilitation or restoration work that brings the home up to code may be eligible for the grant.*All HCBA grants and loans are subject to available funding. |
