What categories of awards are there?


Interior Restoration  Accurately recovers the details and forms of the Chicago Bungalow

Interior Rehabilitation  Demonstrates a contemporary use while maintaining significant features

Exterior Rehabilitation  Demonstrates appropriate rehabilitation and/or compatible new additions

Green Project  Demonstrates energy-efficient design elements and maintains key Chicago Bungalow Features

Landscape Design  Demonstrates a creative design solution

Nomination Form

You may nominate a particular room or an entire home.  In order for a Bungalow to be nominated it must be certified by the Historic Chicago Bungalow Association.  All rehabilitation projects must conform to the Historic Chicago Bungalow Design Guidelines. The award categories are detailed at left.

Submissions are due on Wednesday, September 1, 2010.  If selected, applicants must be available for a judges’ visit on Friday, September 17 or Saturday, September 18.

To nominate a Bungalow, complete the form below, including uploading your photos.  There is no way to save this form, so you may want to answer the questions in a separate document and then paste them into this form.  When you have finished, click Submit.
