The McMahons had severe basement flooding issues that just kept getting worse and worse. They took it upon themselves to disconnect and extend their downspouts, maintain a native plant rain garden, and build a dry well to capture water away from their foundation. On top of all that, they installed solar outdoor lighting. The dry well they installed themselves was the final push in their stormwater management efforts that made all their work successful - they haven't had any flooding issues since!
