Mark and Shannon's slew of green improvements hit all the R's - Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. They reduced energy usage by properly insulating their bungalow, installing solar panels on the roof, switching to LED light bulbs, and cleaning and tuning the radiant heating system to make it run more efficiently. They also reused and recycled by starting a compost pile in the backyard and using reclaimed wood to build radiator covers and a treehouse.
