The Kaempen's kitchen had last been renovated in the 80s and needed an update. They redesigned the kitchen themselves and did much of their own demolition and other jobs in the evenings after work. With the help of a contractor, they now have a beautiful, open space with more sunlight, restored original windows, floors and wall tiles, and creative reuse of other historic but obsolete features.
