Don and Veronica added 2 upstairs bedrooms, 1 full bath, and a play space with a sensitive set-back addition that is hardly seen from the street according to HCBA’s Design Guidelines. The majority of the house was left unaltered, and in fact was even faithfully restored down to every last historic window and floorboard. Not only did they add space without sacrificing the streetscape, but they also expertly unified the unique modernist design of their renovation with the rest of their vintage bungalow.
