Michelle and Chris’s kitchen had previously suffered several poor renovations. Without changing the floor plan and doing as much “upcycling” as they could, they brought the charm back to their kitchen. Original wood floors were uncovered, wainscotting replaced ugly tile, cabinet doors were made over, and salvaged science lab tabletops became their new countertops. Chris even built a hutch from scrap wood and some old windows that were stored in the attic.
